I love the fish out there...always take my family out there for the food.
Very authentic Mexican restaurant and little market where you can get REAL pork rinds. Food in the restaurant some of the best I have had.
As good as good can get mmmm mmm mm
What a great little place. In through the grocery store to the left is a doorway to the restaurant. Got seated looking over the menu. Wow a lot to choose from. The large burrito is the size of the oval plate. Nice large portions. Highly recommend we will be going back.
The food was absolutely amazing and we also got margaritas and they were awesome! We split desert among us and it was a perfect ending to the meal. Will definitely be back.
Helped us throw a wonderful party for my friends mother! Good food, drinks, and great service!
Always a favorite, good food and great margaritas!
I eat here frequently, it is very good. The main negative I have to say is them charging $1.60 to use a card. That is illegal! You are allowed to charge people for credit transactions, but the Fee can be no more than the fee that they pay their processor for their credit card which is usually 2 to 3% which would mean $.30 on a $10 purchase. This should be known to a business owner. You can dispute with your credit card company and they will take the charge off because of it being illegal
I love this place. But has the most authentic Mexican food in all Saint Louis.
The have the best Al Pastor tacos in Fairmont and their Horchata is so Delicious
Didnt go for a few years, but wish I had. Still my favorite Mexican food in the St. Louis area.
Real authentic Mexican food from a restaurant and store in the heart of Mexican community. Great mole. Really nice staff. Restaurant not glamorous and a little dark.
Hubby and I ordered carryout on 11/22/19.food was excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Good place to eat. Reasonable $, food was good, if a little under seasoned for me, and plenty of it. Friendly staff. Cool Mexican store in front of the restaurant. Large menu that makes decisions hard. Will go back.
OMG... THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS HERE !!! ALWAYS
I had the Enchiladas Suizas and it was the best Mexican food I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and the food came out fast.I would highly recommend this place.
Excellent Mexican food, with good drinks. The staff is friendly and there is a nice store attached that you can look through. Service is a little slow and it is off the beaten path however I highly recommend.
Super nice restaurant the only problem I have was on the front with the big heavyweight women but everything else is fantastic I will come back 4 ⭐️ If wasn’t for that person I probably I will given them 5 but for now it’s 4
Food was very good and prices fair but service is slow
Best Mexican joint around!
Was a very enjoyable place to eat and the food was awesome. One of the best places that has food for the dollar. Loved the hospitality as well.
Amazing food! Will be back very soon!
Love this place have been here repeatedly and can't wait to go back. Food is authentic mexican. Yum yum yum.
Not at all pleased with the food. Ordered shrimp and half of the plate had just the heads of the shrimp. The shrimp were different and not bad at all. But I had paid 26 dollars for a half a lb of shrimp.
Allways sooo good! Our favorite the Carnitas tacos, tostadas and of course Horchata agua fresca! We love to bring friends and family, we never go wrong, specially now that they moved next door and there's more room, gladly the food is the same.If I could suggest something should be to add a changing table for babies in the bathroom.
Ok, not as good of selection vs other markets in the area.
Good food overall. I took away point because the salsa for.the chips is just cut up tomatoes with too much water and the other sauces were watery too. It might be better if they mixed it all together. Also the flour tortillas were great (and seemed to be made fresh) but they put one corn tortilla in there and thought I would notice. I dont like corn tortillas fresh or not, so i want happy about this. The other food items were quite tasty and the rice was decent, but there was too little rice, while everything else came in large portions. I certainly wouldn't be a regular here, but I would go here again. If/when I do, I will skip the chips and salsa, and get something that doesnt come with rice.
We came to get some chips & cheese. I like the grill chicken tacos on corn tortilla. My wife had the chicken fajita with all the sides. My granddaughter was just going to eat chips & cheese, because she wasn't hungry. She tried my taco and said it was good, she tried my wife's chicken and ended up eating all the chicken from the fajitas. So my wife had vegetable fajitas with the sides. Our server was Carnia she was really good. When we go back I'm going to request her as my server, if she is working.
Great food but pricy
The chimichanga meal was so good! I got steak for no extra charge. The cheese dip was yummy. The red sauce on the enchiladas was a little strong tasting. The salsa was okay. It felt kinda like eating pico do gallo as salsa. The restaurant wasn't crowded and the atmosphere was nice.
The portions, the prices, the service, all top notch. Chips served with 2 kinds of salsa and fresh pico degallo (which was fantastic). I had the flour tortilla tacos with carne asada and goat barbacoa. Both were delicious. Arrive hungry, and leave full!
Love authentic Mexican food. If you like Taco Bell go elsewhere
Here's a secret.... the special seafood menu is among the best in STL. You'll be happy that you found this little jewel.
This just might be the most Mexican place I've eaten at so far in or around St. Louis in all this time! The food is really good. No cheese to ruin the flavours. You can distinguish the spices and ingredients used in each dish. We accidentally landed here because the actual destination was closed and stood right opposite. I'm glad we found it!
I used to come here years ago everyday for lunch and got the same thing. I big steak and cheese 🌯 burrito. I forgot where it was after leaving the job I used to work at and have missed my burrito cause I have never found one that compares to it! I've found my 🌯 again and it's just as good as I remembered it! I love this place
Great food and outstanding margaritas
Wow, just wow amazing food and warm friendly staff. Family owned.
Good food. Some of the TVs dont work and the music they play doesnt match the aesthetic of the restaurant. But the little store they have inside is nice, it has a lot of cookies and candies
Friendly atmosphere but the food is not as good as it use to be.
Great authentic cuisine
Great portions. Lengua enchiladas were on point!
Love love it! Authentic food delicious!
Authentic Mexican fare including seafood dishes. Great grocery store too.
Excellent Mexican food. Good margaritas. Nice atmosphere, but loud. Prices range from medium (about 9 / 10 ) to medium high (about 19 /20 / market price).
to eat there was not a chose rather than the only option available to get some food during our Route66 tour...we had poor expectations...BUT we definitely had a great dinner with delicious food and friendly service!!! Price was also fine!
one of my fav places to eat..
Outstanding traditional Mexican cuisine
I didnt eat here. Just went to grocery store . Which is fantastic . Filled with anything Mexican ingredients you could want and an amazing meat case . I got the marinated skirt steak . I made steak street tacos and they were really really good .
One of the best, most delicious, hospitable, authentic Mexican restaurants in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Buen provecho!
I'm not really into Mexican food but it was okay food wise. My wife suggested this place and the service was awful and slow. It wasn't like that the first time she went according to her but the service was so slow that we ended up leaving. They said they were short staffed but I definitely felt some type of way. Especially when people who arrived at least 20 minutes after us were served before us. 30 minutes to see a waiter to even get drinks (soda), about a hour to get food only for them to say they ran out of chicken. My wife never received her meal & my daughter only received half of her meal. We were asked to reorder but we were just ready to go. I won't be going back but again the food isn't bad for what it is.
